Event page positioning/picture issue
-
I am using wp-events basic functionality: creating events, showing them as a list and when the user click on it, display the details. The issue I have is the following: I created the events with a “Front picture” (not sure of the translation: in French it is “image mise en avant”). This allows me to display well the list of upcoming events with the picture. But when I open the event itself, this picture is added in big in the background behind the header, which is very ugly.
I looked to some sample implementations of such events display, but this effect is not appearing in the examples I have seen. I didn’t find any configuration to solve this, meaning: avoiding to display this picture as a background of the header in the event. I am using wp-events with the theme “Barberry”.I am looking for advices, first of all if somebody faced the same issue (I didn’t find similar things in the forum however), or if somebody has advices where to look to solve that (plug-in configuration, theme configuration, CSS, php…).
My impression is that for some reason, the picture used for the event is re-used by the theme for displaying the header… but I don’t know why.Final note: If I don’t put any picture at all, the display of the event will overlap the menu of the site… so it seems I have a positioning issue which is not only linked to the picture itself.
Many thanks for any help.
