Event page not showing after updating "Display"-settings

    Hi,

    I recently tried to insert Events to a page using the [em-events] shortcode, which didn’t work as well as choosing the page under the “Display” settings. When I changed the page back to the original under “Display” -> Events page the events page didn’t show anymore.

    Also an error message saying “Events Maker: One or more pages needs to be set up in order to make your events work properly” shows up despite having selected a page and saved settings.

    I’m using the Growler Progression theme.

    Can you help me?

    What you have to do is:

    1. Create / Select Events page in Display settings
    2. Go to WP settings / permalinks and save
    3. Check the selected page – it should display events archive

    Question: are you using WPML or Polylang plugins?

    Updating permalinks fixed it – thanks!

    And no, I’m not using WPML or Polylang, but I’m using another additional language option plugin called qTranslate-X.

    Ok, then keep in mind that EM is not tested with qTranslate-X, and we do not plan to make it compatible with it. If it works for you – fine, if it doesn’t hmm… switch to Polytlang ??
