Hi there.

Firstly, thanks for a great plugin.

Everything is working fine except for the actual Event pages, which just show the site’s front page.

It does this both on the Read More button and in the widget version on the sidebar.

You can see it happening here:

I don’t know if it is pertinent, but I had another Calendar plug-in installed before finding All-In-One and it too used (and probably created) the event folder. I have since uninstalled it.

Any help you can give would be much appreciated.

I tried that but it made no difference. Every click on an event still takes me back to the site’s home page.

The URL shown in the browser is (I guess) correct. For example:
https://wp.pinballnews.com/event/saratoga-pinball-show/?instance_id=6
but it still shows the home page.

I also tried the solution suggested to @tvalleau below who was getting 404 errors where I was getting the home page.

Now I get a 404 error instead of the home page, and the URL has changed to:
https://wp.pinballnews.com/ai1ec_event/saratoga-pinball-show/?instance_id=6

Latest update:

I tried to force an update by changing the slug of the main calendar page from “calendar” to “diary” (which is what I really wanted the URL to show anyway), and suddenly everything started working.

All the event pages are there and show the right things. ??

The only thing not quite working is the Google Map thumbnail which is grey with a locator pin and Map/Satellite buttons. It only shows the actual map and the +/- buttons when the page is scrolled slightly.

I am glad you find a way through the issue. I can see the maps on your site, so maybe you just need to clear the browser cache.
