Event Placeholders on Location Map Bubbles

    Has anyone successfully implemented Event Placeholders into the location map bubbles?

    I am thinking Event Manager will work with what I am trying to accomplish.

    I want to create events with three categories.

    All events will be located on one map, which I have implemented using the [location_map] shortcode.

    I would like the Event Name (linked to the custom post), Event Date, and location in the bubbles of the markers.

    Also, I want to customize the markers for each event category.

    I’ve tried to search, but haven’t found any info on these yet.

    Here is what I am trying to duplicate. This site is an Expression Engine site. I’m converting it to wordpress.

    Also, if anyone has been able to list the markers (categories) and make the google map filter the results, that is something else I need to accomplish.

  • I think the main thing you’d need to do first, is create some custom code that allowed event related placeholders be used within the map info windows.

    By default, only location related placeholders are parsed in the map windows.
