Event Plugin compatible with Featured Content Slider?

Are there any events or event calendar plugins that are compatible with JustWrite’s Featured Content Slider? I want to be able to create an event and mark it as “featured” so it appears in the Slider but I’m having trouble doing so.

Or is there some workaround I can do by modifying the code? I’ve tried these three event plugins. Any would be fine if I could mark the event as “featured”:
