Event that spans 3 days / Agenda View

When I create an event that takes place over three days using the “Repeat:” function…how do prevent all three days from appearing in Agenda view? This is very confusing as it looks like three different events instead of one event that takes place over the course of three days. It really only needs to be fixed in Agenda view. I’d like only the first occurrence to show up instead of all three on three different days.
