    When I make a sale sometimes but not always the sale will result in a duplicate ticket being created for each person. On the events page it states the total ticket items which is incorrect (31).

    When looking at the attendees says 31 items which includes the duplicates but the overview and total tickets says the correct amount which is 22.

    I know the correct amount because I have checked the stripe sales.

    The stock is adjusting in line with the items so it includes the duplicates which isn’t ideal.

    I have the stock set to only decrease if the sale is confirmed by the gateway (stripe).

    Any help on this issue would be appreciated.

    This looks like a bug in our plugin. We already created an internal bug ticket for this, and I added your case. Thanks for all the details. I will definitely pass it along to our devs.

    I am unable to provide an exact date or time estimate for when this bug will be fixed, but you’ll be notified when there are any updates.

    The only suggested workaround that we have at this time is to remove the Stripe webhook signing secret.

    If you do have other concerns or issues you need help with, please create another ticket, as it helps us track different issues.

    Hi Sam,

    Thank you for the fast reply this is helpful. I have removed the signing secret and added a ticket emails update so I’m notified of sales instead.

    I will look out for the notification of repair and appreciate your response.

    I have just installed Event Ticket and found this problem as well while testing. Has this been resolved?

    Hi @matwivsky I have not been informed that the problem has been resolved so I am still using the workaround of removing the signing secret until I am informed otherwise. @sdokus is there an associated e-mail list we can be on for when the bug has been resolved at all?

    First off, I apologize for not seeing your response until now!! I checked in on the bug ticket and there has been a lot of progress in the past week, so it is looking good for a permanent fix to be released in the near future.

    Given the unpredictable nature of bug testing and quality assurance, I cannot give an accurate estimate when the fix will be released, but please be assured that we are doing everything we can to get the fix ready for you.

    We’re back with some good news! This issue with?when using webhook, purchasers receive double tickets, was fixed in the latest release of our plugins.

    Please update all our plugins to their latest versions to apply that fix to your site.

    As always, we recommend?testing updates?on a staging site first, but it should all be smooth sailing.
