I removed the plugin but I have this message “To begin using Event Tickets Extension: Ticket Email Settings, please install (or upgrade) and activate Event Tickets (5.4.0+).”

I then re-installed it. Turned off the Enable option and cleared my cache,
    Same message

    Then I deactivated the plugin
Same message remains. I do not want to use this plugin. How do I get rid of it completely.

  • Hi @frank6tg

    Glad you reached out.

It sounds like you are using one of the extensions without the main plugin installed and activated. Are you wanting to remove both the extension and the main plugin?

To use the the ‘Event Tickets: Ticket Email Settings’ extension, you’ll also need the Event Tickets (Free/core) plugin installed and activated.

If you are getting this message after re-installing the main Event Tickets plugin, perhaps something happened to the plugin or extension files on the backend.

You may need to manually delete the plugin folder via FTP. Check out out guide on Working With Plugins and go to the manual section for a how-to on FTP. Then navigate to the plugin folder and delete it. Be sure to take a backup just in case.

If you want to use the main plugin after manually deleting the files, re-install from the WordPress frontend as usual.

    Best regards,
    Rob

I’ve already tried all of these things. No Joy.

    Hi there @frank6tg

To get rid of the message, please check and confirm that you have these two plugins deactivated/deleted:

    -Event Tickets
    -Event Tickets Plus
-Event Tickets Extension: Ticket Email Settings

Let me know if doing this takes care of the issue.

    Best regards,
