With “The Events Calendar ” & “Event Tickets Free” there is a serious bug when using “Resctrict Content Pro Addon (provided by The Events calendar!)“.

I have the WordPress base theme, and only the above three plugins, so no other interference. I did not customize any templates of any plugin, so everything is out of the box without extra custom coding on my behalf.

I chose some tickets to be visible to certain memberships only, as advertized here: https://restrictcontentpro.com/blog/integration-alert-restrict-content-pro-integration-with-the-events-calendar/ and here: https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/members-only-tickets/

In total I have 20 tickets, and in the overview table for the visitor (new view), randomly some tickets are shown or hidden. Only when refreshing 3 or 4 times, everthing shows as expected. Then when refreshing the browser again, it’s once again this tec-labs-members-only-tickets bug.

The weird thing is that even in the back-end, when I refresh or even just save the event view with the tickets underneath, the tickets are shown in a different, randomly scrambled order. This is very unhandy when you have lots of tickets to edit, as you don’t know how they are ordered!
This seems llike really weird behavior, and it’s certainly caused by TEC Tickets Plus.

Can somebody help me firgure out how to fix this please ? I really don’t know how to make this work…

p.s.: I post this here, so other people can also benefit from this answer, or have some valuable insights to share, which will be of benefit for everybody

Thanks for you support in this matters

    Hi @janice4summer

    Thanks for reaching out.

It’s important to note that the articles you referred to may not function as intended if you have only installed the free version of our plugins. To ensure proper functionality, you will need to have Event Ticket Plus installed and integrated with WooCommerce.

If you have Event Ticket plus installed, unfortunately, we cannot provide support in this forum for premium users.

For us to help you better, please open a Support Ticket on our Help Desk.

You’ll hear from one of my colleagues soon!
