    Hello,
I am using Events Tickets. After purchasing a ticket to an event, the customer does not receives a ticket confirmation via email. It isn’t even sent, I have checked the send box in email. Oddly enough, when RSVP-ing to an event the email is send by the service and also received by the customer. I have tried to configure also the SMTP and still the mail when purchasing the ticket is not being sent.

Based on my search of the web, I think the emails should be sent automatically as soon as the order status is marked as ‘Completed’, which it is.

Will be grateful for any help, since this makes it impossible to work with tickets, the customers need to get their tickets via mail or somehow.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi there,

Sorry about the issue you are having here, I was actually dealing with another case just like this today. One thing that was suggested to me, was to have you try Un-installing and Deleting Event Tickets (and The Events Calendar too if you have it) and seeing if that remedies the issue. Sometimes some of the options data can get corrupted and a fresh install can help.

You might also want to try testing for conflicts if you have other plugins: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/testing-for-conflicts/ information/

Please let me know if either of these work for you!

    Hello,
I have tried to uninstall both the Events Calendar and the Events Tickets and sadly it didn’t help. The tickets still don’t get send. I have noticed though that despite the uninstalling and deleting the plugins, after installing them again they had their options and events saved. Might that be an issue also? If so, how can I delete the somewhere saved settings of those plugins?

I tried to test for other conflicts but there are none.

    Hi @klimada

Thanks for giving that a try, unfortunately I actually think this might be a limitation of Event Tickets, as state by Juan in this thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/customer-not-received-email/

It seems that you’ll need to require users to login and then use their email to receive tickets, or otherwise purchase a license for Event Tickets Plus and have accessing to Individual Attendee Collection.

I am going to confirm this with my team, but I am fairly certain this is the case. However requiring users to login is a pretty simple addition, and the settings are under Events > Settings > Tickets

Let me know if you have any questions!

    Hi,

I have installed the newest Event Tickets update.
Sadly the emails still aren’t send after the ticket has been purchased.

    Hi @klimada

Super sorry to hear that this is still not working for you, that is really quite odd.
Would you be able to create a public facing Test Event on your site? I would like to try the process of buying a ticket to take a look at everything I guess to re-start troubleshooting. I would also like to get your System Information, you can reach me at my email, which is truman at The Events Calendar.com

Please let me know about both of these and I will do my best to assist!

    Hi again,

We haven’t heard from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved. Feel free to start a new thread if you have any more questions!

    Best,
    Juan.
