event tickets not displaying on events page

Is there maybe version issues? Using it on 4.2.2.

This example is shows the attendees on the event page: https://www.wpcapetown.co.za/event/april-2014-meetup/ – they only show up if there are attendees who have purchased tickets. If there are not yet any ticket purchases then the ‘Attendees’ box is not displayed.

You also need to make sure that you have selected the correct tickets in the event settings.

Yep not to phased about displaying attendees for now, just want to see that option to buy tickets on the event page.

This is the steps I followed to create event and to link the tickets.

Installed the following plugins:
– CampTix & Events Calendar for Meetup Groups
– CampTix Event Ticketing
– CampTix PayFast Payment Gateway
– The Events Calendar

– Created tickets from Tickets option on menu, set price and set quantity to 10
– Created event in The Events Calendar from the menu option Events
– Selected tickets created under ‘EVENT TICKETS’ on event page.

After I have followed these steps should I see option to buy ticket on the event page?

OK I see – that option will not appear automatically. You need to add a manual link into the event content that points to the ticket purchase page. There is no easy automated way to do that, but if I can work it out then I’ll add it ??

Ah ok cool. So the option to select amount of tickets the user wants from the events page is not possible? Im confused, where does it link to then? The tickets I have created?

The tickets are a part of CampTix – you need to create a new page add the [camptix] shortcode to it, then add a link to that page from the event content. The camptix shortcode handles the full ticket purchasing process.
