    Hi,

We have a recurring event which we want to set from 1200-1500 hours. As soon as I do Publish, it goes to 1100-1400 hours.

We are in Spain, the Settings are all set to Madrid Time.

It used to work so not sure why this is happening now.

  • Hello,

Have you tried resetting timezones? Events > Settings > Admin Tools > Reset Timezone

Hi I am having this same problem. The event is set to 1 – 4 p.m. NY time, but shows up as 5 – 8 p.m. – you can view the issue here: https://johnscreek.net/events/birthday-party-hosted-by-tracy-genk/

Hi! I’m hoping I can get help with this? I tried resetting the time zone but that definitely didn’t work. Can you please advise? Maybe I need to start a new thread? My original post is above.

    Hi,
Sorry for delay but wrapped up in Convid issues.
I reset time zones as requested.
Went to Recurring event and set for 1200 hours start
Pressed UPDATE and it went back to 1100 hours.

I also went to Setting/General and the time there matches the actual time here perfectly.

    So still have problem.

Sorry, we are unable to replicate this issue on our test servers. Would it be possible to check on your PHP error logs to see if there’s any other error that might cause this?

    Thanks

Sure! I can set up a login for you for admin access to my site. Can you contact me directly via email? [email protected]

    Hello @graphixchix,

Have you already tried the initial suggestion for resetting timezones? Have you also tried checking if there’s any plugin/theme conflicts? If not, Please try the following:

    1. Make sure you’re using the latest EM and EM Pro Version
    2. Make sure your using PHP 7.1
    3. To minimize possible plugin/theme conflict, Could you perhaps try and Install WP Safe Mode (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-safe-mode/)
    – Activate and Enable Safe Mode. Please make sure that on the settings a twenty series theme is selected.
    – When activated it would help you test as if the Website only plugin activated is EM and twentyseries theme
    – After making sure that its working properly, You could start adding additional plugin on the list that is activated and test again until you see which plugin is causing the issue

@trevor47 Please try the following suggestion also.

I have also asked our Devs about any suggestion for this one.

Yes. I have tried those things. It was working properly one day and the next day it wasn’t.

    Hi All,

I thought I had sent a reply via email but clearly it did not work.

I went in last week to create a single event and all worked well. I set time for 1200 hrs and it stayed at 1200 hours.

I then went and checked the recurring events and they have now corrected themselves to the right time.

So not sure what the problem was but it has cured itself.

Hmm, usually this happens when you have a caching plugin or due to server cache.
