• The event tracking isn’t being recorded when the form is submitted on this page. This form is used on other pages and it is working fine. What can be the reason for the tracking to be blocked on a specific page?

@bgerlachllc what mode are you in? Measurement protocol, Google Analytics, or Tag Manager?

    Measurement protocol.

However, I was comparing code on this page with one that tracking is working and it seems different and have a ticket into my dev team about it.

Code on the page that isn’t working: https://www.evernote.com/l/AOCo5lJ9Kw5D0ozPiv728R2EosyJPEdrWes

Code on the page that it is working:

I looks like the first one is still calling Ajax. I’m not a developer and have enough coding knowledge to break things, so I could be reading that wrong.

Looks like one form was submitted via Ajax and the other ones not. I’d check for JS errors or errors in the server log. Or switch the Ajax form to regular and see if that helps.

Great…thanks for confirming what I thought the code was saying.

I will let my dev team know.

So, apparently that was a cached version of the site. I checked the code in an incognito window and tracking isn’t working.

I can’t for the life of me figure this out. We use your addon on all of our WP client sites and have never experienced anything like this.

On the page you needed help with, I don’t see a form I can try out. Can you please point me to a non-working form so I can see if there are any obvious issues?

You have to click on the CTA = See the MouseOx in Action.

@bgerlachllc I don’t see anything obvious. No JS errors. No 404’s.

    A few questions:

    1. The form entries are saving correctly?
    2. You are receiving email notifications from the forms?
    3. Other feed add-ons for the form are working correctly?

    Yes, Yes and Yes.

That same form is here: https://www.starrlifesciences.com/product/pulse-oximetry-sensors/. I have events recorded in GA from the form submissions on that page.

Here are events from that form on the sensor and software module pages:

BTW, I see your submission. the HubSpot add-on for GF worked and sent it to the CRM. I received a notification and I can see you as an entry.

    Hey Ronald,

After more investigation and testing, I discovered that our hostname spam filter is what was causing the issue. However, it is really strange that it was happening only on this one single page. We recently added a RFQ form and the same issue was happening for that form too. For some reason, any form on that page wasn’t triggering an event in GA. It is only that one page.

I was advised to remove the plugin and use GTM directly. Before I go to that, is there anything reason that a hostname filter would be blocking your plugin from triggering an event on a single specific page?

    Thanks
