Eventpress – can't edit recurring events

  • I really want to start using Eventpress on my site as it has pretty much all the features I need.

    However, I’m going to be having a lot of recurring events, many of which will be add / maintained by other people, and currently when you enter one, you can’t go back and edit them all, you have to do them individually.

    Is there a way around this?

    Also, when you create a multiple event, it lists every single one in the event listing (in the admin side), it would be much easier to manage if it just created 1 listing in the backend. Any thoughts?

  • Well, at the moment the recurring event creator just duplicates the event and pushes the times ahead without maintaining any connection with past events: if you really wanted to you could edit the code to use custom taxonomies to tie up the events together; but there’s no non-code solution atm.
