Events 404 error – no upcoming events

    Hello,

    We’ve been using this plugin for years with no issues. Recently, all of the events stopped showing and our calendar says “No upcoming events” even though we do have some events that are upcoming.

    After further research, I noticed that all of the individual event pages are throwing 404 errors.

    On a local install, I tried everything listed here and it still won’t work – https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/fixing-http-404-errors/.

    The other post types, for instance, blogs, work with no issues.

    Do you have any other suggestions for us to try?

    Yikes!

    Out of curiosity did this happen after updating to version 6.0 or later?
    If so, did you also complete the migration process?

    If you did complete the migration, it looks like something went wrong. Here’s a guide to mitigating that.

    Please read carefully, especially if you have a caching solution on your site.

    Depending on your situation, you might have to undo the migration and/or the update so that we can figure out what is going on.

    If this is not the result of an upgrade, it could be an incompatibility with your Theme, another plugin, or even the PHP version (e.g.: if you are on PHP 8.1)

    The next thing to do would be to test for conflicts on a staging clone of your site.

    Thanks, the events are displaying for me, individually and in the list view.

    However, they are not displaying in the month view- month view says no events: https://localaccess.org/events/

    Hi @dezdesign, apologies for the delay here. Could you try switching to the 2021 Default Theme, and see if the calendar would appear?

    This is definitely weird, there are no error logs on the console, and should be able to display the Calendar. Please test it out on a staging site.
