did you check your wp timezone?

The timezone is correct. This isn’t happening for all the events though, so wouldn’t have thought it would be a system thing like that…Don’t know!

    could it be DST related?

This isn’t happening for all the events though,

is it consistently happening to every all-day events, or is it just some?

Nice – yeh it’s DST related looking at the dates now. Only happening between mid April and mid October. Is this a Google or Events Manager issue? Is there a known workaround?
    Cheers

it’s more likely a server issue on your side. could it be your WP general settings and if the timezone is DST aware?

we have had DST issues in the past but we resolved it for the majority of people.

is it still all-day event related or just DST releated?

    Thread Starter scott452

    (@scott452)

WP seems to be DST aware (From admin area – This timezone is currently in standard time. Daylight saving time begins on: March 31st, 2013 12:00 am)

It only affects all day (weekend) events – the ones that area few hours are fine before and after the DST cutover date.

we’ll test this out and get back to you

did you guys get anywhere with this?

    Hi,

we’ve released Dev version 5.3.6.3, can you try this?

    Thread Starter scott452

    (@scott452)

I think it works. I deactivated the old version, then deleted it and uploaded the new version. In Google Calendar, when I upload the events.ics file, the dates are corrected so all seems fine. When I add the calendar by URL, it still shows the incorrect dates, but I think that’s a Google Calendar thing right?

    Cheers guys

    Thread Starter scott452

    (@scott452)

    It’s all working now! Thanks

Excellent, that is the same I was reporting here

    Hope 5.3.6.3 gets released soon!

@scott452 thanks for confirming, the latest dev version is out which fixes this

I could never duplicate this issue myself but the new way we calculate offsets uses WP’s internal functions so I’m hoping it’ll be more reliable.

No worries – thanks for making the fix.
