Events are being duplicated on the Events Page

    On the events page, all of the upcoming events are being duplicated. Additionally, I tried putting the one event that is on the site now into draft mode, and the page duplicated the “No upcoming events” message, one under the other. So somewhere, the event output code is duplicating.

    I am using the latest version of WP, and the Divi theme at its most recent version (which is a regularly updated theme).

    I tried all the different loop setting options (no luck) and I also made sure “Skip synced events and locations” was turned to Yes.

    Any ideas?

    One other question – is there a way for it to import the ticket purchase link? The client uses eventbrite, and we want to import the ticket url so that when they click the event, they are taken directly to eventbrite.

    This means something is wrong with your html being rendered, resulting in the browser behaving like this … check your resulting html with a html validator.
    And importing? How do you create the event? EME has a notion of “external url” that can be used for this.
    Edit: it seems your hmlt is ok, but you should check that page, probably somewhere you have 2 times the events widget or the events shortcode present.

    The only content on that page is this:

    This page is used by Events Made Easy. Don’t change it, don’t use it in your menu’s, don’t delete it. Just make sure the EME setting called ‘Events page’ points to this page. EME uses this page to render any and all events, locations, bookings, maps, … anything. If you do want to delete this page, create a new one EME can use and update the EME setting ‘Events page’ accordingly.

    How is that page generated, clearly it doesn’t operate the same way as other WP pages…

    I got a version of the page to work by using a widget shortcode on a new page, but the auto-generated events page just doesn’t seem to work right (I moved it to a new url – https://www.thelimefoundation.org/events-manager/)

    Well, it explains what it does ??
    Using the special events page directly is just not recommended.
