    Hi,

    My client was using The Events Calendar for quite some time and everything was working well. Yesterday, my client did the updates of WordPress and The Events Calendar and from then, the events are not working anymore.

    There is multiple events set in the calendar, but when you go see it on the website, the events are not showing. There is only a dot, but when you “over it” or clic it, nothing happen.

    It might not be clear, so if you want to see by yourself you can go here .

    What can I do to make it work again?

  • We are having a very similar problem as Zhymar described. My client updated to WordPress 4.0 and updated all plug-ins and theme as well. They only have 10 plug-ins and they are of all high quality. After the upgrade they are seeing duplicate entries that were not there before. You can see an example here https://www.smothills.org/events/2014-10/
    duplicate entries are listed on October 1, 7, 14 and other dates.

    In a mobile view we see the dots as Zhyrmar described. The theme we are using is Twentytwelev with a child theme. So it is all pretty standard stuff. My client is pretty unhappy as you can understand. I hope that you can correct this and offer an update very soon.

    I neglected to say that we have the The Events Calendar PRO.

    Hi Zhrymar,

    Thanks for your post. I’m sorry you’re having trouble after updating. I suspect the problem is a theme or plugin conflict that came up in the update. Have you tried deactivating other plugins to look for a conflict, or switching to a default theme like Twenty Twelve? If you need help, please read this guide to testing for conflicts.

    If you can isolate this as an issue that’s inherent to The Events Calendar, we’d be happy to look into it further. Unfortunately, we can’t help troubleshoot conflicts here on the free forum. If you do find a conflict, you can try getting in touch with the developer of the theme or plugin and see if they can shed some light on the issue.
