Events are not showing in fullcalendar

  • Hello support,

    Events are not showing in fullcalendar.
    I have used both shortcodes [fullcalendar] and [fullcalendar type=”event”].
    Override calendar on the events page, and override calendar shortcode.

    Any help would be highly appreciated.

  • Hi Ammar,

    There’s a jQuery error on the page you linked to. It’s possible this is a conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?

    The error was from qTranslate import plugin. I deactivated and still can’t see events on the page!!

    Any suggestion?

    Have you also tested with the default theme? It could be a theme issue…

    I tested it with the default theme. It is not a theme issue.
    Unfortunately, it is not working correctly ??

    Hello Caimin,

    WPML Multilingual CMS plugin is causing the problem. Full calendar works fine when WPML is disabled.

    Do you know how to overcome this?

    Do you have the Events Manager / WPML Compatibility plugin installed? That should fix the problem.

    Yes, I have already installed this plugin, it didn’t fix the problem.

    The latest for all
    Events Manager Version 5.8.1.1
    WP FullCalendar Version 1.2
    WPML Multilingual CMS Version 3.9.1
    Events Manager and WPML Compatibility Version 1.1

    Please note that I installed a new WordPress website and got the same result.

    Can you try with the Dev version of the plugin?

    Hello Caimin,

    I figured out the cause of this problem.
    Simply WP FullCalendar is not compatible with WPML. Therefore, the plugin author has to join WPML Go Global Program to make everything works harmoniously.

    I think there’s something else going on here because WP FullCalendar is compatible with WPML.

    Did you try the Dev version of the plugin?

    Yes I tried the dev version same result, no events appear on fullcalendar.
