    I’ve encountered an issue that can also be replicated on the https://wpshindig.com/events demo site.

    On first page load, the keyword search doesn’t appear to have any effect… but if you navigate forward and backward by a month (ending up on the same month, but with the month-specific URL instead of simply /events/), the search will function.

    I checked the known issues link and didn’t see it listed, but is there anything I can do in the meantime to get search functioning? Thanks!

    Thanks for reaching out ??

    This is because you didn’t select a date to search in.

    Once you paginate to another month, the date is automatically filled in because that’s the way that the Tribe Bar works.

    We’ve had similar discussion in the past to change this, though I haven’t heard of a verdict. I’d suggest submitting Feature Request for this (or voting for one that already exists).
