    Hi @jaappoot

Thanks for reaching out. Let me help you with this one.

May I know the specific page on your dashboard where you encountered the ‘Deprecated error’? I would like to investigate it further from my end.

Moreover, please also provide the version of the following.

    • WordPress
    • PHP

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hi Darian.

It shows up on all dashboard pages where the menu of the dashboard is presented. When I go a level down, where the menu is not depicted, the warning will disappear.
    I’m using WordPress 6.3.2
    and PHP 8.1.24
Hoping you will find the cause. I have not detected any problems on the website, but it is a nuisance when maintaining the site.

    Hello.

The same happens to me. Same WP version, but with PHP 8.1.8. No further errors logged. In my case, we have it in a dedicated SUSE 15 SP3 server.

I’ve also tested deactivating all of the other plugins, but the problem persists.

    Hi @allala

I’m reaching out to let you know that we’ve created an internal ticket to address the issue you reported, and we’ve included your case in it.

Unfortunately, we don’t have an estimated time for when the issue will be resolved, but we’ll keep you updated as soon as a solution becomes available.

In the meantime, please try using PHP 8.0.x and see if that helps.

Let me know if you have further questions or concerns.

    Hi there!

We’re happy to inform you that those “Deprecated” messages when using PHP 8.2 with the Events Calendar plugin have been fixed.

As always, we recommend testing updates on a staging site first and keeping a recent backup, but the update should work smoothly.

Please upgrade your Events Calendar plugin to apply this fix to your site.

Also, please note that Deprecated warning messages are not bugs/issues at all, and you can learn more about that by reading the following thread: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/php-8-2-and-deprecation-notices-2/

    Best regards.
