I use the Divi Theme on a number of sites in conjunction with The Events calendar. For the most part there is no issue on all but one site. On the problem site, I am using a custom built Divi footer – backend navigation – “Divi >> Theme Builder >> Global Footer”.

I am diligent in keeping up with plugin, theme and WP Version updates. When I update The Events Calendar to any version 6.0 and above the custom footer breaks. I am using WP Rollback to control the version. I see no issue with the standard Divi Footer and The Events Calendar (on other sites).

    Site in question: https://www.mhhpchamber.com/

Site is also using the Divi Events Calendar plugin to allow customization of upcoming events.

Using Classic Widgets and Classic Editor.
Divi version: 4.19.0 (with an enqueued child theme)
    WP Version: 6.0.3
PHP Version: 7.4.33 (waiting upgrade to current 8.0/8.1 due to conflict with Manage WP Worker portal)

    Good evening @twtull

Thank you for reaching out and we apologize for this glitch.
We are currently working on a fix for this, so stay tuned.

In the meantime, other Divi users with the same issue have reported that unchecking the “include events in main blog loop” option under Events > Settings > General resolves the issue.

    Hang in there,
    Geoff

Whether it’s just me, I’ve actually had to rollback to version 5.16.4 TEC to get my events to show again. I couldn’t pinpoint the cause, but I found TEC versions 6.0.4, 6.0.3.1, 6.0.1.1 and 6.0.0 didn’t work for me on this setup:

    Divi version 4.19.0
    WP 6.1.1

I didn’t have to time to test all versions from TEC 6.0.0 onwards just yet. Just leaving it here if it helps anyone, as it took me a couple of hours to get these showing again.

You are not alone in this. The most stable version to work with Divi is 5.16, also to say that version 6.0.4 of TEC does not solve the problem. Cheers

unchecking the “include events in main blog loop” option under Events > Settings > General resolved the issue for me after many V6.x crashes and reversions.

Divi Events Calendar 2.5.2 (Pee Aye Creative)
    TEC 6.04
    TEC Pro 6.03
    Divi 4.19.1

    Hi there,

    We’re back with good news!

Our developers have just released the Events Calendar version 6.0.7 and Events Calendar PRO version 6.0.6, which resolves the issue that was breaking Global Header and Footer settings when using Divi theme builder.

Please update your Events Calendar plugins to include that and other improvements to your website.

    Best regards,
