Our Events Calendar plugin was updated last week and we started to have problems with it. We are now receiving a fatal error:

failed to open stream: No such file or directory in?/home4/trinidd0/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/the-events-calendar.php?on line?34

I cannot delete the plugin. I have tried and I get a deletion failed. There has been a critical error on the site. I wanted to try and reinstall it but that isn’t an option at this point.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @jhuffman,

That’s a problem that can happen when updating any plugin and more related to our WordPress update process works than something specific to our plugins.

When updating or installing plugins via the WordPress dashboard, you’re passing instructions to your server to download the plugin .zip file, decompress it and create the plugin folder/files properly. If a file is not being found, your server probably have some issue when decompressing the .zip file.

The best way to solve that is to manually delete the plugin and installing again, using your server FTP connection.
