When viewing the events calendar on mobile the page appears to fade out after it loads (tried an iPhone and Android, portrait and landscape). I can’t tell for sure- but it appears as though it is getting stacked behind my background image (which itself has a level of transparency though to a color). It looks kind of like it’s opacity is set to a low percentage, but because the fade-out appears animated, it makes me believe it’s actually an effect of the background-image fading in.

Everything looks great on large screens.

I was hoping to go live with the site tomorrow so any quick help would be really appreciated.

    Thank you-

  • I had the same issue. Drill down to the content block that holds the calendar (I used Chrome’s Dev Tools) to locate the class name. This for some reason is set to display: inline. Setting it to display: block should get it back on the page, pushing the footer down.

    Thanks for the fix-
After my post I reached out to a developer friend who took a look at the javascript for me. He said he made an adjustment to the z-index that was being set via JS on mobile. Though it may have been a hack- it seems to have worked, so I haven’t actually tried the fix on display you suggested.

Using both may be a good way to put it to rest, so thanks!

Thanks for sharing. That sounds less like a hack and more like a fix. Sometime yous have to play with the Z index to get a plugin and theme to be on the proper planes.
