Events Calendar Setup

    I have been working with this calendar for 4 years +/- and I STILL cannot understand how it gets set up. I can NEVER get my calendar to show or the calendar list to show. I am too stupid to own this plugin.

    calendar slug: pack-slug
    event slug : pack-event

    What do I get? 404 errors that the page is not even there. I create an event and when I click “view event” the other events are listed over the page showing the event I want to see and it is the only one not there. Frustrating. I have to use support to figure out something as simple as where is the calendar?

    I’m sorry to hear that you’ve hit up against difficulties, @cedaly1968.

    Your experience doesn’t sound great but it also doesn’t sound like something most of our users have to face.

    Any chance you could share a URL so we could take a look? Additionally, have you tried resetting your permalinks by visiting the Settings → Permalinks admin screen? You don’t necessarily need to change anything as just visiting that screen will ‘flush’ a set of rules used by WordPress to control how URLs are interpreted.

    I found the problem. On the Display page the site was set to Default Page from Event Calendar instead of default template from the site. As soon as I changed that everything worked.
