Events Calendar Shows no Events

    I have The Events Calendar Pro version 3.5.2 and until Wednesday last week (20th September) everything was working fine. However on Wednesday all of a sudden none of the events which used to display on the calendar correctly are there on the calendar. The only way I can get to the events is to go the the URL https://www.sevagolf.com/events/upcoming/ where the events are displayed in list form.

    This is a workaround but all of our golf club members have been used to getting to the events pages via the calendar.

    Someone please HELP. I regret to say that the guy who developed the website for us is completely non-responsive.

  • We have been having a similar issue in the past few weeks — list view displays correctly, month view displays nothing. No solution here, just piggy-backing on your issue if/when someone has a solution.

    I tested in staging site and it initially seems to resolve with update to plugin version.

    We experienced the same issue, even after updating to the most recent version.

    To resolve this what we did was as follows:

    1. Manually deleted /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar directory via FTP (leave any other The Events Calendar plugins untouched)
    2. In the WordPress Dashboard go to PLUGINS and you should have a warning to install The Events Calendar plugin.
    3. Re-Install The Events Calendar plugin using the [Add New] button.

    Hope that helps as it took us several restores from backup (both files & database) before we were able to isolate the simple process above to resolve the issue.

    A recent WordPress release introduced some changes that broke queries for a number of plugins, including ours. It sounds like that is possibly what you’ve hit up against.

    If so, the workaround is straightforward: please update The Events Calendar (and WordPress) to the latest versions.
