Are you using some sort of tool to duplicate events? I you create an event from scratch, does it still not show?

No we are not using a tool to duplicate events. I just created a new event from scratch and the problem is still there.
Everything worked fine until the last plugin upgrade. It seems you have had similar problems with this plugin from other users Support reqs.

So sorry this is still happening. Please refer to https://support.theeventscalendar.com/303643-Testing-for-conflicts, including using a staging or cloned site to test for updates that resolve this. We’ve got a few ways to test simulating deactivating plugins (keeping it live on your site for visitors).
