    Hi,

But that’s very strange because I’m not using the orderby “post date” in my plugin.. I only order events on parameter “event date”. You did not add an orderby attribute while adding the widget?

It might also be a conflict with the query of the posts (blog) on that page, did you try my widget on another non-blog page?

    Hi again,

I notice you display my event widget on a single event page as well. I now know it’s a conflict with the blog part of your theme. As you can see my event widget displays correct on a non-blog page. Are you using a commercial theme from ThemeForest? In that case you should send it to me so I can try to find out what’s causing this behaviour. How can I contact you?

Thanks for your reply Guido, Sorry I was off for holidays. The site is now launched at ilovemimico.com – the theme is Templatic’s Directory – City Guide. https://templatic.com/app-themes/directory-theme
If you can sort out the order issue that would be great. For now I guess I’ll have to adjust the posting date so they list according to the event date.

    Hi,

I did not notice your recent reply, sorry.

Are you still having troubles with the events order?

If yes, do you also have other active plugins for displaying posts/portfolio/events?
It must be a conflict between my VSEL plugin and your theme or another plugin.

Still having trouble with events order – working around it by putting the posting date in the order I want.
Also now noticed another problem – TODAY’s events are not showing. Any advice?

Looks like the recent update fixed both issues! YAY! Thanks.
