• Hi!

We successfully installed the plugin. The code is also added on our website and no errors were found in the browser debugger. However, the events do not show up in GA.

According to the project page on GitHub the code should be installed under the GA code. On our website, the GA code is installed at the bottom of the body, while the scroll depth code is in the head area.

    Might this cause a problem?

    Best regards,
    Goran

I have a number of questions if you don’t mind.

    • Are your running “Universal” or “Classic” Google Analytics?
    • Are you running Google Tag Manager?
    • How are you setting up your Analytics code? If a plugin, which one?
    • Did you try looking at Real-Time events to see if anything is happening?

My initial suspicion is that your Analytics object has been renamed. (Just learned how to properly deal with while debugging another plugin)

    Hi!

Thank you for your reply. I’m running “Classic” Google Analytics. The Code is implemented via google tag manager. We inserted the analytics code at the bottom, before the closing tag of the body. Yes, I tried real-time events and scrolled down, but scroll tracking was not displayed.
