Events Gone From Backend

    Hi, the “Events” option is no longer visible on the backend of our site. You can see a screenshot here: https://cl.ly/b09895a991bc, the first option is “Tags”. Thanks for any assistance!

    Steps taken:

    • The plugin is up to date and active
    • I’ve deactivated all plugins except for TEC and changed the theme to Seventeen and the issue still persists
    • There are no error messages at the top of my WordPress page
    • My site is running on PHP 7.2
    • I’ve checked the box in the Help area to automatically share my system information with your support team
    • I’ve tried clearing browser, site, and server cache. Others have had this issue on our site as well using completely different computers.

  • I just had this happen on dwwc.net. I actually attempting to role the site back to a day that the events calendar worked and I cannot do so via wordpress nor at the server host. THey cannot do it either. I feel like I should recreate the events but I’m concerned that whatever broke will just happen again.

    Did you recently try to upgrade The Events Calendar?

    If you go to the Plugins page, is TEC present there?

    You might need to reinstall. I’d suggest deleting the-events-calendar folder from your plugins directory and installing fresh.
