Events in Drafts…?

caimin_nwl, angelo, could you provide us a status of this issue (cant reproduce, in a query to fix etc)? I plan to use this plugin in our project and need to clear this situation. Thanks

We have not been able to replicate this issue. Are you sure there’s no custom coding relating to Events Manager or user_capabilities?

People, I found the cause of issue. Event status do not changes from draft because of validation conditions. Exactly for me I have not checked “this event has no physical place” checkbox and not insert any place for event. So event was not been completly filled with mandatory data. But there was no any validation message after status changing attempt and this is what confuses me.
I deinstalled EM 5.6, installed older 5.5 and have seen appropriate validation message – this is what put me on a right way.

But now I see them in calendar but no page or article was created, I get 404 error

lgouaux, this helps for me:
Try re-saving your WordPress permalink settings in Settings > Permalinks from your admin area. When testing after deactivating plugins and switching themes. you should re-save your permalinks after deactivating/switching.

Last one (I hope) : The hours of each event are not the same in the admin and in the front. I got 2 hours less.

I did a fresh install of wp events manager over the weekend latest version as well as buddy press and bbpress.. Was able to create events but neither the user or admin can edit them.. The administrator can see the event counts but they are not available to edit… Any suggestions?

And I have all location service turned off since we do not need this info..

@lgouaux This sounds like a theme issue. Do you get the same results if you test with the default WordPress theme?

I’m running into the same issue.

When I edit an existing event, it switches over to Draft. I noticed this happening after upgrading to EM 5.6. All the necessary fields are filled out.

I tried wp 4.3 and the latest EM 5.6 and seems to be working fine; does it make any difference if you try deactivating other plugin or theme or you already tried that?
