Events in wrong time zone

  • For some reason, all of my events are showing up on the page as being three hours later than they are in Google Calendars. A 12pm event displays as a 3pm, etc. Does anybody have an idea why it would be transposing like this?

  • Check your timezone in WP and under the Advanced tab in Simple calendar. Calendar uses the site default unless you change it here. Your site system should be set to the correct timezone though.

    Also check the polling time, as it only updates from Google periodically, not in real time.

    My events were off by one day. I couldn’t for the life of me determine what was wrong. I had checked all time-zones… except… the one set in WP. (was set to UTC)
