    Using the shortcode [events_list] on this page. It does not include new events added since creating his page with shortcode. Would appreciate suggestion(s) on how to get new events to show on the page. The widget used in the right sidebar is picking up new events.

    I realized the issue is the shortcode [events_list] orders the events alphabetically. How can the events be ordered by start date?

    Go to Events Manager > Settings and then click on the Pages tab then click on Event List/Archives then under Default event list options set the default event list ordering. The default is “Order by start date, start time, then event name” but maybe on your site it has been changed to “Order by name, start date, then start time”. Changing it back to “Order by start date, start time, then event name” should fix the problem.
