Events List Grouping showing previous dates

I am using events list grouping but i ave some long event that started aw hile ago. This means that when grouping is on the date from when it started shows.
https://www.essexlowdown.co.uk/whats/Is there any way to change it so that if the event started before “todays date” its shows it under the grouping of todays date and doesnt show groups of previousl dates.
