events list links not working

    I have been using the following code to create a link:

    <a href="[events_list category="21" limit="1"]#_EVENTURL[/events_list]">Book on this course →</a>

    but for some reason wordpress now can’t find the event. Any ideas why this is happening?

    you can try something like this instead <a href="#_EVENTURL">Book on this course →</a>

    however, are you doing this inside the formatting option at Events > Settings > Formatting > Events ?

    [events_list category="21" limit="1"]<a href="#_EVENTURL">Book on this course →</a>[/events_list]

    does the job
