Events Manager: add a category dropdown?

  • I’ve added the following shortcode to the page, but it lists the Categories as an unordered list. Is there a way to make it appear as a dropdown menu?

      [categories_list hide_empty=0]

    Ok so I’m not sure what’s happening, but would love some help…

    I’m using the WP FullCalendar plugin too. When I put that shortcode above on the page, it’s a bulleted list of categories. I want to know if it can be a dropdown of categories. Also, when I click on one of the category links that’s currently displayed with that shortcode, it brings up an unformatted list of events in that category, instead of returning the user to the FullCalendar with only those categories displayed.

    1. Is there a way to have a dropdown of categories?
    2. Is there a way for the user to see all events in the chosen category on the FullCalendar itself, instead of in an unformatted list?
