Events manager downgrade deleted all of my events

I was having issues with my events and decided to downgrade to a previous version of events manager. I did so and now I can’t find any of my events. I checked in phpmyadmin and it seems like there is no data for my previous events anywhere. Is there anything I can do to find where the events went or are they gone for good?
I should also add that I did a backup on the site but it’s been going for almost 24 hours straight now and never completed. Stupidly, I decided to revert the plugin version while the backup was still going.
