I previously briefly tested the Events Manager plugin. I created an event, categories, locations, etc. I believe when the plugin was installed, it automatically created bunch of pages. I later deleted the plugin, all the pages, and went into the file system and deleted the plugin directory. I also deleted all the em tables from the mysql database.

Recently, I installed the plugin to give it another try. This time the plugin did not create any pages and it does not give me an option to re-create them. When I select Events Category, the plugin still shows me the old categories. When I select Locations, I get the following: “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” I deactivated and deleted the plugin again, deleted the directories, dropped the tables. I went through the process again with the sames results. I am using the latest version of the plugin and WordPress Any idea?

I found under Events Settings -> Admin Tools an option Uninstall/Reset
“Use the buttons below to uninstall Events Manager completely from your system or reset Events Manager to original settings and keep your event data.” I clicked it. Under Plugins I uninstalled the plugin.

I reinstalled it and now everything works. I am still interested in knowing why when I deleted the database tables and files, and uninstalled the plugin, there were still residues of it somewhere on the system,
