Events Manager Plugin – More Tag

I am using the events manager plugin. I am trying to use the more tag with the events posted. The more tag works in as much as it cuts the text off where I put the tag. However you can not see or hover over the More link….. I’ve imputed text in between the tag Read More and nothing shows up. You can click the events title and it will take you to the event and all the text shows up, the only thing that doesn’t work properly is the display of the more tag.
