Events Manager shows wrong language (WPML)

    I’m working on a client-site which is originally shown in french. The default-language of my WP-installation is also french.

    I’m using WPML to translate contents and the backend for english-speaking people.

    The Events Manager overview-page and also single events still only show up in english only and it doesn’t matter if I’m logged in, logged out, deactivate WPML etc.

    WPML does show me the correctly translated strings, though.

    WP 3.9.1
    Events Manager 5.5.3.1 (WPML Compatibility installed)
    WPML 3.1.6

    Anyone around here that had a similar problem and knows how to fix that?

    could it be because of the error in your site?

    Nope … I’m working on different parts of the site atm, so a few errors might appear.

    this works for me, can you try to temporarily do the following to narrow down the problem:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems
