• Hello,

In my calendar have events start at 22:00 finished at 2:00 next day…

They are not ALL DAY Events, but are shown in the calendar with ALL DAY label on top of them in the moth view (I’ve not tested the week view).

Another question about those events starting a day and finishing in the early night in the next day: Can be defined a threshold on hours for those events for not to be shown in the second day, only in the first one?. Some people get confused thinking they have the event in the second day too.
I’m thinking in the possibility of defining a threshold, in 3 hours in example or 3:00am due to the events finishing before that time don’t appear in the last day as if they were a “new” event.

    Thanks in advance.

Would it be possible to get a link to your page, and also your feed? You can email them to the address on the ICS Calendar admin page if you don’t want to post them here.

I’ll admit the calendar is not the best at handling events that span overnight —?it just hasn’t come up very often. Here are a couple of suggestions that may help improve the appearance for you:

    https://icscalendar.com/icsdocs/#hidealldayindicator

That will remove the “ALL DAY” text.

    https://icscalendar.com/icsdocs/#combinemultiday

That changes how events that span multiple days are displayed. It’s still somewhat experimental though, so it may or may not look good in your case. (That’s part of why I’d like to test your feed… I can experiment with improving the plugin’s output.)

I’ve used combinemultiday to show them better.

Anyway it have some visualization issues, in example: when I have an event begin in a week and end in the next one, the ending of the event (the event in the last week) are emty blocks.

So when i have some events, ones ending in the weekend and others ending in the next week, the emty blocks don’t lets know whats is the event they are related too… because them don’t have any text…

Anyway they are not ALL DAY EVENTS, because are events begining in 22h and ending in 2:00h (concerts and dance parties), only 4 hours events.

Thanks a lot for your answer
