Events not displaying, Query error on install

  • Hi, I am using BroldGrid, Hydra theme and am having trouble with the WP Events Calendar plugin. Upon install I received the following error:
    Warning: Error while sending QUERY packet. PID=254718 in /home/hissma5/public_html/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1811

    And now, no events will display, in any view. Is this a compatibility problem? If so, can you recommend a calendar plugin that will work?
