When I make an event and give it a time, the plugin does not save the time. If you go to an event page, the date saves but the time is left as ” – ” despite the fact it has a time saved. This then breaks the front page widget, displaying events with “- – -”

I have tried reinstalling via deleting the plugin folder and reinstalling it. I have not tried uninstalling it through the WP plugin area as I don’t want to lose all the events.

Any and all help is appreciated.

  • Hey there @phillipbell1996,

Thanks for your interest in our products!

Can you check if there are any updates available for WordPress or The Events Calendar — if there are, go ahead and update.

It may also be worthwhile to take a run through our testing for conflicts guide.

    Take care,
    Ed ??

Thank you for sending me in the right direction. I tried testing for conflicts but nothing seemed to work. It was then that I looked in Events > Help > System Information and I realised that the WP Time and Date format for the whole site was messed up somehow. After resetting it to default in general WP settings everything has been resolved.

Usually, the simplest explanation is the right one. Thank you for your help.
