    Hi eddadee,

Are your Eventbrite events live and public? If you have to switch them to public, just disconnect and re-connect to Eventbrite again in Tools > Keyring so that the previous empty results are refreshed.

If you have public, live events and still don’t seem them after disconnecting and reconnecting, can you let us know with a link to an example event on eventbrite.com?

Ah, sales have now ended for these events, which may be messing with things. Curious if sales were still live/active when you filed the ticket?

As a test, can you create a live, public test event for next week maybe, and then just disconnect/reconnect again? I just want to be sure we’re looking at a simple event for the sake of the plugin setup.

Hi thank – I’ve modified the events so the sales are active through next week. Still not showing up on the page.

    Thanks for your help!

    Hi,

We’ve got the North Shore event showing up; the plugin checks every 24 hours automatically for new events, or you can force a check by doing the disconnect/reconnect in Tools > Keyring. If the Baulkham Hills one should be showing up too, just disconnect/reconnect again, and let us know how it goes.

    Hi,

I went to ‘Tools >> Keyring’ and there is no ‘disconnect/reconnect’ option, so I guessed it must mean ‘delete’. I deleted the connection then clicked ‘Add a new connection’. This took me to the Eventbrite site, but rather than just confirming I wanted to connect to my already existing app, it wanted me to create a new event…?

Why won’t it simply reconnect to the existing app? All of the app details are still set on the ‘Keyring Servic eManagement’ page. Do I need t delete and reinstall that too?

I’ve deactivated, deleted, reinstalled both plugins, then tried again.

It seems that the process is different now?

Rather than asking me to allow the connection to the app, it’s asking me to create a new event.

Is there a step I am missing? I haven’t changed anything in the app – the title is the same.

    Please help!

Sorry, yes, “disconnect/reconnect” meaning, delete the current Eventbrite connection at Tools > Keyring, and then Add a New Connection. At that point, you’re asked to allow your app to connect to eventbrite.com (#10 under Connecting to Eventbrite in the docs).

The process wouldn’t be different; not sure why you would be asked to create an event during the authentication. You’re already logged in to eventbrite.com when reconnecting?

If you like, you can send admin access to your WordPress site, and I can take a look to see what’s up.

    I’m having the same issue.

    Genesis Framework 2.1.2
    Eventbrite Version 1.0.3
    Keyring Version 1.6.1

Under Tools > Keyring selecting Test returns “This connection is working correctly.”

My page called Book has the template assigned. I have verified it’s working by viewing the body class which has the class page-template-eventbrite-index assigned.

I have two public live posts. One was created before I added the two plugins/configuration and another was done after I did all this to troubleshoot since I see you’ve asked others to do so.

    https://www.eventbrite.com/e/laynes-inaugural-birthday-brewery-tour-tickets-15677335332

    https://www.eventbrite.com/e/chads-test-event-tickets-15901444649

I’ve deleted and readded the Keyring connecting and retested to make sure the connection is good which it is.

My site is in development, but is also live. I’m using Theme Switcher so the link while it will take you to a working page will not show you the proper layout unless I was to give you access to WP.

    https://www.groovingears.com/book

You will see the only thing inside of <main> is <header>. It’s otherwise blank.

Thank you for any help figuring this out. I think I’ve done all the troubleshooting I can at this point.

And additional piece of info for my situation so you have all the facts that I know about.

Since this is in dev and I’m not 100% Eventbrite will be the solution we haven’t added any banking info. So I see that the new Test event that I made with a ticket amount of $35 might not be truly live because it has no way to process the payment yet.

And the other event that I have is public, but was set to private originally when I created it so that others couldn’t accidentally sign up. But again since I made it public I deleted and readded the Keyring and tested the connection.

Hi chadw1207, please start your own thread, so we can be sure both of you get the support you need (you can just copy/paste). Thanks!

    Hi eddadee,

Rather than asking me to allow the connection to the app, it’s asking me to create a new event.

Oh, this can happen if you’re not logged in to eventbrite.com already when you go to make the connection (you were first asked to log in, then got the prompt to make an event?).

    Thread Starter eddadee

    (@eddadee)

Yes, I was logged in to Eventbrite before I tried to connect.

I sent you the admin details yesterday – did you get them?

    Done. New thread created.

Have you made any progress on this?

I think it has something to do with Eventbrite itself? I tried installing the plugins on a completely unrelated website and the same thing happened – rather than asked if I wanted to allow access to the app, I was taken to the ‘Create a new event’ page right after logging in.

Please help – my client needs this to work.

    Thanks!
