    Hello guys,
I’ve installed your plugin, created two events, but for some reason the option to see the existing events and create a new one (in the admin panel) dissapears.
On the existing events page, on the front-end of the website, the option “edit event” is not present.
The reccuring events option in admin panel returns the an error: “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page”

Here is a list of installed plugins
    Better WP Security
    Events Manager
    Facebook
    Jetpack by WordPress.com
    nrelate Flyout
    RSS Multi Importer
    SB-RSS_feed-plus

just to narrow down the problem have you tried to temporarily:

    – deactivating all other plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems

    Hi.
Same thing in my case. I use EM some 6 month without any problem. It’s since last week that i lost all the options in dashbord menu. only (i use dutch wordpress translation) setting and help.
Already tried default on twenty thirteen template + all other plugins deactivated. still the smae result :-(.

I spottted a problem with bbpress which wiped our capabilities on deactivation (fixed in 5.5.2), but the plugins listed at the top don’t ring a bell….

However, in any case if this happens you should visit the settings page and make sure the boxes in User Capabilities are ticked again. That should set things right.

if you can find out which other plugin may be doing this, we could look into it.

    Thanks marcus.

    Hello guys,
all the user capabilities were ticked.
I trialed several event managers, one of them was The Events Calendar. I suupose after its installation everything went wrong, but I may be mistaking.
After I deleted all teh entries in the database related to event managers and reinstalled the plugin the problem was solved.
btw, deactivating other plugins and of course deleting the other event managers didn’t work.
And, what’s the purpose of uninstall? After installing and reinstalling the events (the posts) were there. And the DB was not cleaned.
anyway, the problem is solved and congrats for the widget capability to customize the display – that was the decision point. Looking forward to calendar view on the events page.

by the way – you should somehow link it to Events Manager. I tried to find addons for EM and it was not on the first page. It should contain Evemt Manager in the name or at least in the description
