Hello, I’ve been trying to get analytics to work for weeks now to no avail.

I followed the simple step-by-step guide from your documentation and uploaded the presets to GTM.

When I make a test purchase with tag assistant I can see GA4 Ecommerce Add To Cart Tag, GA4 Ecommerce Purchase Tag etc firing just fine and I can see all the important data in the data layer, but for some reason only acquisition and engagement events are being reported in analytics. The purchase event and add to cart event are working fine but when I go to the monetization submenu in analytics every value (revenue, purchases, add to cart, item view etc.) is sitting at 0. It’s really weird because in Realtime I can see purchasers when a transaction happens but they never show up as purchasers in the monetization and ecommerce submenus.

If anyone has a suggestion I’m all ears

Update: I set up a UA tag today and my test purchase is being reported without issue in UA so the problem is only with GA4.

    Hello @deflation,

thank you for opening up this support thread.

To be able to advice more we would need you to provide us with following information:

    1. GTM debugger session (instruction how to get the URL: https://support.google.com/tagmanager/answer/6107056?hl=en#share)

    2. One or more URL of transaction confirmation page (this is the screen that users see after the purchase)

Please don’t share this information here but send us at [email protected]

We need the GTM debugger session to be able to tell how exactly the tags are being triggered and the example transaction URLs makes it easier for us to see how the purchase event is tracked.

    I hope that makes sense,

    all the best,
    Handcraft Byte

So yesterday I completely cleared and reinstalled all my plugins that had anything to do with analytics and tagging and also deleted every tag from tag manager, deleted my web stream in analytics and made a new one and basically did everything from scratch and today I got my first proper purchase report in ga4. I have no idea what did it but your plugin and the tag presets worked like a charm! Thank you <3
