I noticed several events posted in a subdirectory named mc-events, but I don’t see them from within WordPress administration page. I would like to delete these from database, but don’t see any options. Please advise. And thanks for such a great plugin.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

That’s the permalink for your event. If you don’t want to see these, you can disable search-friendly permalinks on the My Calendar settings.

The posts will still exist, because the posts are used to save meta data related to your events, but they won’t be exposed to users.

Thanks for explaining that. These events are four years old and each year I delete old events. The pretty permalinks has always been turned off. i was hoping to find a way to delete these out-of-date entries. Thanks,

    Joe,
I did a detailed check and these mc-events entries go from 2015 through 2018, all for events that have been deleted so no meta data is needed. Do mc-event entries stay permenantly, even when the event is in the past and has been removed? I would like to clean up this database of old entries if possible. Please advise. Thanks,
    david

Hmm. They should be deleted when the event is deleted. Does it appear like this is all of your deleted events, or just a fraction of them? (E.g., is this a bug that appears to happen every time for you, or just part of the time.)

It’s just a fraction, maybe 20 or so. I had never noticed it until I was doing a scan of all URL entries and noticed this. My guess is it’s a bug has been there for some time, but doesn’t show up. It hasn’t caused problems, but I would like to keep old stuff off the database, if possible. Thanks for any help in a cleanup. Regards,

As long as they’re events you *know* are gone, you can just delete them directly from the database without any problems. Just be sure to take a back-up first, just in case!

Thanks. Deleting from database sounds a little risky. Since you say it’s harmless, I’ll just leave it alone. I appreciate your prompt response, as this is a great calendar.
