Events sort by categories on a static site

    Hi, just one question:
    Is it possible to create a static site and to put in a list of events of just one category?
    I found a lot of shortcodes to put into pages or posts but not for categories?
    Otherwise did someone put the posts of the events into e special site template with query posts?
    When i give in the ID for the event category nothing is shown on the site. Did someone solved this?

    yes, you can use shortcode like [events_list category=”X”] where x is the events category id
