Management asked for an events plugin and I installed BuddyPress events. They decided they did not like it so I uninstalled it. But there is still an Events tab showing on the navigation bar. How do I remove that now from BuddyPress?

    Newbie to BuddyPress.

    Thanks

The URL is https://omc-paragon.com. The site is for a hospital-wide project and is used by hospital staff and vendors.

It is closed but I have created a new Subscriber for you to look at what is happening. BTW – One of the other IT folks thought that if we reinstalled the BuddyPress Events plugin and removed it again it would help; that is why there are now two unwanted events tabs.

    Username – test
    Password – WatchMe

Thank you for any assistance you can give.

All the bp files are still there and still in the database.

That is what I would have tried also.

You have gone into dashboard, menus and deleted events?

Back up the database. Then remove all the buddy press tables. Also manually delete the plugins/buddypress folder.

We want to keep the BuddyPress – hospital staff like the “Facebook” look and feel but they wanted the Events plugin removed.

I have finally fixed it by restoring the buddypress folder and the mysql DB from the backup I made last night before I installed the events plugin.

Thanks for your help in pointing in the right direction.
