Events Time Not Working

  • Hi.

    I was wondering if anybody can help. For some reason the time for our events has stopped working, and keeps setting everything to 00:00:00.

    When I check the back-end of the event, (we don’t use a plugin) I used to be able to edit the event, and adjust the time. However, when I try to add the time in, it just isn’t showing anymore and only showing the date.

    I’ve checked the field group and it does have the time in the display and return format. So not sure why the time isn’t displaying.

    Does anyone know how I can fix this issue.

  • Hi Sam,

    Events are not core to WordPress, so it must be either:

    • A plugin
    • A theme function
    • Custom code in functions.php

    Have you updated anything (such as themes/plugins) on the site recently?

    Are you able to have a look in the SQL database and see whether the times are recorded as 00:00:00 in there, or whether the database is storing the correct value?

    Thank you for your reply. After a couple of days of trying to get to the bottom of it, I just can’t figure it out and think it’s beyond my skills.

    Therefore I am paying a company to look into the issue and resolve.
